We will pick you up at your hotel in Ibagué at 7:00 a.m. and head to the municipality of Venadillo. Upon arrival, we will access the Amanecer de los Venados Park, an ecotourism area where we will have a great time.
First we will take a hiking route to learn about the species that inhabit the tropical forest of Colombia. We may see eagles, parrots, gray marmosets and maybe even a snake.
Afterwards, we will go to the lake to embark on a water bike tour, a fun exercise in which we will pedal while sailing. We will also slide down a zip line at full speed and we will have to keep our balance while crossing a Tibetan bridge. In addition, we will enjoy a kayak tour.

With this post we do not intend to make a complete list of things to do in Yellowstone, as it would be impossible, but we will present some of the places we visited that should be included in any itinerary through the oldest national park in the United States.

Our sunrise viewing Old Faithful Geyser eruptingOld Faitfhul Geyser, located in the Upper Geyser Basin area, is a must-see in the park. Of all the 500 geysers in Yellowstone, this was the first to receive a name during the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition of 1870, which subsequently led to the establishment of Yellowstone National Park in 1872. The geyser erupts at relatively regular 90-minute intervals, making it easy to predict when it will be in action.
