old mine waterfalls
The Huasteca Potosina is characterized by its amazing aquatic scenery such as waterfalls, rivers, lagoons, as well as archaeological sites and of course the Edward James Surrealist Garden, a site that will certainly captivate your attention.
SURREALIST GARDENSurrealism is found in this place! The history dates back to 1947 when Edward James of English origin acquired this place and in 1962 when he began to devise the structure of a garden with sculptures based on surrealism as well as inspired by orchids in combination with typical vegetation of this place. He completed 36 sculptures distributed in almost 81 thousand square meters of jungle that denote magic, art and beauty, there is no other place where nature and man have been combined so harmoniously as in Xilitla.
CASCADA DE MINAS VIEJASThese are two waterfalls of approximately 50 meters high that fall to form 4 pools of turquoise blue and emerald green surrounded by lush vegetation, resulting in a landscape that captivates, same that we would not believe that exist in Mexico.
